In the app
In the app since version 0.2.0. With an older version, write to us: see without the app.
- Open the Profile tab.
- Tap “Delete my account”.
- Enter your password to confirm (account created with Google: choose your Google account again).
Your account is erased at once, and you are signed out.
Uninstalling the app does not delete your account: you have to use this option.
What is erased
Straight away, on the server:
- your account: player name, password, sessions, link to your Google account;
- your catches, with their locations and the viewfinder’s measurements;
- your collection, your progress, your Miles and their history, your quests, your league, your club;
- your friends and friend requests, your trades, your duels, your market listings;
- the notes on rejected catches, the error reports linked to your account (versions of the app before 21 October 2026).
Cards that other players bought or traded from you stay theirs, with no link to you. Your player name becomes free again.
Error reports from later versions aren’t linked to any account. They erase themselves within 90 days.
On your phone, the copy of your collection is erased when you are signed out. Uninstall the app to leave nothing behind.
And the backups
The server makes one backup a day, kept for 14 days, and one a month, kept for a year. Your data disappear from them as these periods run out: within a year at most. Until then, they are neither read nor used. If a backup ever had to be restored after a failure, your account would be erased again.
Without the app
No longer have the app, or your phone? Write to contact@skypeek.app with the subject “Delete my account” and your player name.
Skypeek doesn’t ask for an email address when you sign up. To check that the account really is yours, we will ask you one or two questions about your game, such as your latest catches. We then delete the account within a month at most, and confirm it to you by email.
To find out what Skypeek keeps about you, read the privacy policy.
